Years ago Toni did a tv show that honored Stevie wonder, on which she sang (all is fair in love) the best version ever. what show was that and how do I get a copy of that song. Toni should do a studio album of the greats, and call The New Classics.

I am embarrassed for Toni, I mean I'm a Whitney Houston fan, and even I purchased this beautiful CD from both Toni's website and Itunes, TB fans need to rally and at least make this CD Gold for her. This is really sad. This was an awesome production, and for it not to go Gold speaks volumes on Toni's fans

    Hey Toni,

My name is Toni as well and my last name is Brandon, so I get the Toni Braxton slip up all the time although our names really does not sound that much alike. I always tell people that no, Im you of course because I don't have your fame or your looks ( do they really expect even you to say your're you when you trying to pay your cable bill) ...LOL...I have great respect for your craft and the way you conduct yourself during interviews. I love the fact that you say you read the blogs and that when you are in "artist" mode you sign autographs and give hugs...I think that is awesome...there is nothing worst than an artist that is too full of themselves....after all, we are all human...I love your voice because it's unique and you stay true to your craft even when you don't have a hit or aren't selling out a venue...I also love that you talk about your life experiences, especially your son's autism...I'm a therapist and I work with children and family that are affected by autism who do not have a platform for which to speak or have a voice, so thank you! (I think that's a run-on sentence but you see my point)...LOL ...I saw you in Vegas you were great, but I wished you had worked the crowd more instead of justing staying near the very front row...LOL...I hope to see you in Atl soon maybe there I can get front row seats...Take Care!

BTW, I really like the short cut on you...it's your trade mark! I would love to hear you perform "I wanna be your baby" during an interview...just throwing it out there...

WOW, JULIE, I find your comments to be both intriguing yet rife with inaccuracies and sheer unadulterated untruths. I am one of those faithful "public" folk who find Ms. Braxtons tone, quality, song choice and verbage to be not only understandable, but very entertaining and full of soul. She is indeed the voice that she always has been. What I have experienced in her music is an intense growth that seemingly comes from her life experiences and shows. I am not sure where your "Emperor has no clothes" reference fits, however, I will caution you that if you recall the story correctly, the Emperor had those who were subject and loyal to him by way of a "candid audience". They had no other choice and if they had rebuffed him, they were sure to face sudden death. How that comparison bears to Toni Braxton begs the question as though you might suggest that should any person find her music objectionable, that they would be subject to some sort of reprisal. What I can unequivocally say is this (and I did the research on it before I started typing here)--ALL of TONI BRAXTON'S releases have hit NUMBER 1, with exception of 1 cd. That speaks loudly to her ability to keep her fan base satisfied and wanting more. I know I do. Keep the shallow comments on your side of the fence. Over here, we are listening to sweet sweet music.

Part of being a great singer is an ability to communicate. In that respect, Toni Braxton fails miserably. Like the emperor that walked through the streets with no clothes on, Ms. Braxton seems to believe her public that says everything that falls out of her mouth is golden. It is not. Her range and "skills" may have advanced over the years, but her ability to communicate the meaning of the lyrics (which is the ultimate job of a singer) has deteriorated to the point that you cannot understand a single word she sings. Her technique is great, her communication is horrible. Just because people ohh and ahh and say you look good and sound wonderful doesn't mean anything if people cannot understand you. Just remember the naked emperor who thought he was wearing gorgeous fine clothes because his "public" was heaping praise on him. Please tone done the stylizing and start singing again.
