What is your favorite non-single release from each of Toni's albums?

Here is a fun topic. As we all know, Toni has several strong cuts on each of her albums, and unfortunately, as much as we would like, there is usually a limit to the number of singles that are released from each one. Out of curiousity, if you had to choose one more single from each album, what would they be? I have listed the albums and their singles in parenthesis, followed by my choice. I'm looking forward to hearing what other Toni fans have to say!

1) Toni Braxton - Debut Album - Singles: Another Sad Love Song, Breathe Again, Seven Whole Days (Radio Single/International Single), You Mean The World To Me, I Belong To You/How Many Ways (Double Single)

My choice: Wow. There were so many singles from this album, including Love Shoulda Brought You Home, originally on Boomerang. But if there was yet ANOTHER single that could've been pulled from here, then I would've chosen "Spending My Time With You".

2) Secrets - Singles: You're Makin' Me High/Let It Flow (Double Single), Un-Break My Heart, I Don't Want To/ I Love Me Some Him (Double Single), How Could An Angel Break My Heart? (Radio Single/International Single)

My choice: Ok, I'm gonna cheat here. Since there were two double single releases from this album, I would've chosen a third double single - "There's No Me Without You / Why Should I Care"

 

3) The Heat - Singles: He Wasn't Man Enough, Just Be A Man About It, Spanish Guitar, Maybe (Radio Single)

My choice: I would've went with the title track - "The Heat", but it would've had to be appropriately released during the summer. LOL.

 

4) More Than A Woman - Singles: Hit The Freeway, A Better Man (Radio Single)

My choice: Again, I have to cheat with this one. Being that this is my second favorite Toni abum (the first being her debut), there are alot of tracks on here that I love and I felt would've been great radio bangers. If I only had to choose one, then I would go with "Let Me Show You The Way (Out)", but other strong contenders are "Lies, Lies, Lies" and "Give It Back".

 

5) Libra - Singles: Please, Trippin (That's The Way Love Works) (Radio Single), Take This Ring (Radio Single)

My choice - I Wanna Be (Your Baby) - hands down. I love that track!

    Secrets: I Love Me Some Him, Why Should I Care, Come on Over Here.

    The Heat: Fairy Tale, The Heat, Gimmie Some (Left Eye is hot on this track), I'm Still Breathing,
    Never Just For A Ring.

    More Than A Woman: Always, Give it Back, Let Me Show You the Way (Out), And I Love You, Selfish, Tell Me.

    Libra: I Wanna be Your Baby, What's Good, Take this Ring, Midnight, Spose To Be,
    Finally ( very creative how all her hits are summed up in this one song)

    Pulse: Wardrobe, No Way, Why Won't You Love Me, If I have to Wait, Lookin' At Me and all the bonus tracks.

    (Sorry, I just can't choose one, lol)

    From the Secrets album, it would have to be "Why Should I Care". From the Libra album, it would have to be "S'Posed to Be". from the Platinum&Gold Collection/Playlist album, it would have to be "Maybe"(Radio Remix/Edit).

    Toni Braxton-----I agree with the author, there were so many singles released from this album is hard to really name a track I really loved that wasn't released, but I guess I'd choose "Spending My Time With You" and "Love Affair" as my fav. non-released tracks.

    Secrets---"Why should I Care", "Secrets", "In The Late of Night", "Find Me a Man" and the Intro song. lol. I really loved that whole album tho, "How Could An Angel Break My Heart" was my absolute favorite, but it doesn't count, 'cause it was released as a single.

    The Heat--"Never Just For a Ring." Hands down.

    More than a Woman--To be honest, this is the only Toni album I don't have so I can't say right now....sorry.

    Libra---"I Wanna Be Your Baby", "What's Good", "Midnight" and "Finally"

    Pulse---"Why Won't You Love Me", "Lookin At Me", and "Pulse". I can't wait for her to release "Woman" love that song! Love the whole album.

    Wow! I love how we all have a bunch of variations for choices! It looks like that the majority of us agree on "Best Friend" and "There's No Me Without You". If she reads this, perhaps she will treat us to a live version or remix to these two tracks in particular, maybe as a bonus download track on Pulse or B-side to her next single? Let's keep our fingers crossed!
